Blue Water Resort Guidelines

Reservations

Reservations for Gold members start one year in advance, (the day a member wishes to reserve must be completely over) a Gold member may reserve their specific site.  Gold members are not allowed to reserve the exact same site year after year if that site is in demand by other Gold members.  Gold members are also allowed to make reservations for 3 (three) additional guests. Guest reservations do not guarantee a specific site or a full hookup.

Reservations for Silver and Bronze members start in January for the following season.  The reservation does not guarantee a member a particular site, only an R.V. hookup.  The reservation made will not specify a full or partial hookup. The reserved site will then always be on a first come, first serve basis.  Silver members are allowed to make reservations for 1 (one) additional guest.  Guest reservations do not guarantee a specific site or a hookup.

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.  Members failing to cancel within 24 hours may lose their reservation privileges for the next year.  Gold members who do not arrive on the scheduled day may forfeit their specific site reservation.  All check-ins should be in by 8:00 p.m.  After 6:00 p.m., all sites open up to other members with or without prior reservations.  If you cannot make it into the park by 8:00 p.m., please call the office 435-946-3333 to make arrangements for late arrival.  If you arrive after 10:00 p.m. you may be asked to park in the storage or dry camping area over night and set up in the morning to avoid disturbing others after quiet hours.

Members with reservations will be given priority over a member who may come to the park without a prior reservation.

All room and guest reservations require a  non-refundable/non-transferable 50% deposit to hold the reservation.  This deposit is due within 10 (ten) days after the reservation is made.  Failure to pay deposit will result in cancellation of entire reservation.  If a reservation is made and there is not enough time to send in the deposit, a credit card number must be taken over the phone to secure the reservation.  When making room reservations, the first room is at member rate, all other rooms booked are at guest rate. (Guest of Gold members pay Silver rates. Guest of Silver members pay Bronze rates.)  *Please note that when making reservations for guests we do need their name and address for billing purposes as well as safety reasons.

Use of Facilities & Occupancy

In an R.V. site, Gold members can stay up to 4 weeks (28 consecutive days).  Silver members can stay up to 3 weeks (21 consecutive days).  Bronze and RPI members can stay up to seven days.  The member may be asked to move to another site during the course of his/her stay for watering and lawn care purposes.

No permanent occupancy shall be permitted.  Occupancy shall mean any vehicle, a tent or other encampment that remains on any site or any other area set aside for members, for a period of not more than twenty-one (21) consecutive days for Silver members, twenty-eight (28) consecutive days for Gold members, and forty-five (45) consecutive days if “camping unit” is left in storage unattended.

Upon departure, the member must leave the park for at least seven (7) days before re-entering the park.  Members shall maintain a permanent residence outside of Blue Water Resort.

No trailer may be left in the storage area before April 15th and must be removed by October 15th of each year.

Site Occupancy

Space permitting, there may be a maximum of eight people per site.  Only one “camping unit” may occupy each campsite.  Under normal circumstances, this would be a tow vehicle and a trailer, a private vehicle and a tent, or a self-propelled camping vehicle.  A camping unit is defined as “ that camping equipment which is owned and or operated by the member (guest) and is used for overnight camping.”  Besides an RV, one small 2-person tent may be set up on one site.  The purpose of this additional tent is to sleep small children, not an additional family.  A screen tent of reasonable size may be set-up next to an RV as long as it does not protrude from or overcrowd the site.  All RV’s with tents must park in designated areas.

Tents

Tents may occupy RV sites if the sites are available. Otherwise, tents must be on tenting  sites leaving the hookups open for those RVs which require hookups.  Two tents are allowed per tent space.  All RVs with tents must park in designated area.

Abandoned Vehicles

RV’s  may not be left unattended for more than 24 hours.  If a vehicle is left unattended for more than 24 hours without prior notification, it will be considered to be abandoned and the member may lose privileges for the next year.  Abandoned vehicles prevent other members from enjoying the campground.  (Exceptions may be made for emergencies.)

Deposit/Cancellation Policy

There will be no refund or transfer of deposit upon cancellation.  A 50% deposit is required upon making any reservation.  In the event of cancellation, there will be no refund.  Also, the deposit cannot be transferred to another reservation.

All members and their guests must register with the resort upon arrival.  The member may be required to present a current home resort card and photo I.D.  Guests will not be allowed to register until the member has entered the resort unless prior arrangements have been made.
